Nature never ceases to amaze me. These pictures were taken at the Dixie Caverns, not very far away from home.

The caves get its name from a dog, Dixie, that like most dogs never follow the master but expect the master to follow them. And very its very rare if they don’t get into trouble. Dixie fell into a small hole and the rest is history.

The reflections seen in this image are from a small pool formed by water dripping from the stalactites.

This is the spot at which the light from the entrance strikes and apparently early in the morning, the sun’s rays strike a pool of water and a rainbow appears in place of what is seen above. Would have been cool to take a snap of it, but they don’t let you in at sunrise 🙁
