Or that’s what the Floridians say when people ask them about the hurricanes, the tropical storms and the depressions. Hurricane Katrina was expected to be a tropical storm, but it pulled one up on everyone and turned into a category 1 hurricane dumping loads of water and gusty winds with peaks reaching upto 90 mph. It did its damage with plenty of downed power lines, trees and power outages.
I did go around the next day to survey the situation and though I do not have power yet, I am at the office recharging my cell phone and sending out emails and of course working and posting this on my site. I will post more on this with pictures so that people know what the price is of staying in paradise.
I saw the damage that Katrina has created. Very sad. Natures fury i suppose.
