Four Loko is an energy drink introduced way back in 2005 during the boom years of energy drinks. It turned out that this energy drink had a whopping 12% alcohol content leading to problems of having a very wired up drunk. The product was subsequently banned by the FDA in late 2010.

Someone came up with a novel way of converting all the Four Loko drinks into ethanol. [link]
